I was at the Baltic Sea in Grömitz this summer with Susi, whom I support in everyday life. Susi uses a motorised wheelchair and can get around quite independently. Because of this, she always carries a waist bag with her containing her glasses, a phone, her ID card, some money — and the PAJ tracker.
After spending almost the entire day on a trip in Travemünde, we were quite exhausted by around 5 p.m. and headed back to Grömitz. While transferring Susi into the car, I accidentally left the waist bag on the roof of the car. When we arrived back in Grömitz, about 50 km away, we realised it was missing!
Using the app, I tracked the bag’s location and drove straight back to the point shown. I was confused — we had never been at that location! As I looked around, I noticed it was the Travemünde police station.
An attentive passer-by had found the bag and handed it in to the police. Everything was still inside — even the cash. The officers had found the tracker and were already expecting me. After verifying my identity, they returned the bag to me.
On the drive back along the coast to our holiday apartment, I was rewarded with a beautiful sunset over the sea — the perfect ending to a stressful moment.
